sea ray for house boat???

Hi all I'm comsidering trading my 1998 290 sundancer for a houseboat. After 4 years of having her its time to let her go she's sweet but time to let her go. I just want a plain house boat no engines!!! Also considering to let her go for 20k feedback would be great!

Why would you want a house boat with no engines? What good would that be? Can't go anywhere which is the whole point of having a boat, to go somewhere in it and enjoy different places.

I got her but don't want to go out I just want a place to go to the shore and stay on. The marina dose all the work but to me its not worth it since I don't take her out..Haveing a shell stay is what im looking for. I owe 16k what should I do????Should I pay her off then trade her for some one looking for a 290? She dose look sweet... Is 20k a good price for a 1998 290 sundancer...

Sounds like you are not a boater. Maybe a better option for you is sell your boat now for whatever you can get out of her and rent a hotel room when you want to go to the shore. It will be much cheaper and you will likely enjoy it more.

These are popular at one of the marinas nearby. Most don't even have motors.

20k for a 290 seems fair. What interior layout does it have? What engines and drives? Hours? Pictures? Zip code? Salt i assume. Pm me if you want.
