Sea Ray 650 Fly Bridge

Call me strange... but I find it very attractive. In fact, I have recently fallen head-over-heals with the 2014 510 Sundancer, which means I will probably die with an unrealized dream of owning one. I like the different windows, and I think they work well together. I would like to see how it looks with the flybridge hardtop. After watching the 350 slx video, I'm really excited by the direction that SeaRay is taking with some of these boats. They are definitely a number of steps ahead of the competition with the design, building and amenity offerings. The ergonomics from the engine rooms to the dash, and even to the cockpit entertainment centers are incredible in comparison to some of the competition.

No link, I took a pic of an ad in this months Power and Motoryacht magazine.

I think the boat looks awesome.

I love it too....

I guess you naysayers won't be joining me when I take delivery....oh well.

looks like an AZIMUT.

My first impression as well.

This may be a sign of the generation gap, but in really like where SeaRay is heading with new designs with most of their boats. I got to check out the 510 last year at the Ft Lauderdale show and it is an awesome boat. I think of of the best 50' boats on the market. (Fairline is also a favorite)

I think the 510 Fly follows this theme. My only dislikes are the new 350 DA and the Venture.

With this 650 SR is going after Azimut customers, no question about it.

I won't be going there, but any guesses as to how much one of those puppies would run for?

Likely in the $3-3.5 million range would be my guess. The 610 sells for around $2-2.5. (Actual not just MSRP). Maybe slightly higher. It's really going to appeal to Azimut and Lazarra buyers as well as SR owners who can afford to move up. From what I hear, the 60-100' range boats are doing ok right now.

Others may have more insight, but I'm curious to see if they go with a four stateroom layout. Other boats this size tend to have a full beam master, vip stateroom up front and smaller port and starboard staterooms in between.

Also will SR put in a tender garage?

Very interetsting. Also, how many current 610 owners are already in line to buy one!

Some "projected specs " for the 650 DA version
Lhull: 59'9"

Bhull: 17'2

Disp 1/2 capacity: 84,000 lbs

Disp Max capacity: 89,600 lbs
Projected Cruise Speed: 32 mph (@ 2100 RPM), Projected Max Speed: 37 mph @ 2330

Agree it looks like an AZI.... Plus a Prestiege, plus a host of others I saw at Annapolis. I too am a fan of the hard lines of the older Rays. But what do I know. I'm probably the only one on here that found the 70's 360 "T" Top sexy!
