Can Anyone speak to this Boat? We are considering buying this model and year. The concern is the age. It was well maintained, I am just wondering if there were/is chronic or systemic issues with that model and year.
Thank You for any time or wisdom...

OK....I'll bite....

Hello boat...do you have any problems?......

Welcome to the board...

There's lots 'o wisdom with regard to this boat model.....first thing....which motors? In 1998, there were three offerings (I think)...7.4 MPI, 7.4 Horizons and CAT diesel. FWC was an option on the 7.4 MPIs....standard on all others......

These are great boats. There's a real nice one for sale in Wildwood  Mark

The 370DA was one of those boats everyone asked "Why are they eliminating or changing it", or "Why fix something that isn't broken?"

No bad habits, no systemic issues....the diesel version is one of Sea Ray's best ever boats; gas versions take some getting used to around the dock or in tight quarters as they are lethargic and slow to respond.

My wife and I love ours! We've had it for just over a year now with no major issues. You didn't mention what engines are in the one you are looking at. I can tell you that the Cats are awesome!

Thank You all for replying. I am abit of a ludite so I could not get to the answers. the engines have are 741 hours, the block, 455 /7.4 L They are asking $74.9. What do you guys think? As I've stated, we never bought a used boat, we know "buyer beware" is ther anyting we should beware of?

GET a survey!!!!!!! That many hours on a gasser is questionable. A gas mortor has about a 1500 hour life expectancy when properly cared for. So with 750 hours, it is about half worn out. Better be safe.

Sea Ray 37DA 1994 vs. 370 Express EC 1995

There is a debate on these boats as to which is overall better the 37DA with v-drives (sit farther aft and are way close together) but has the mid-cabin vs. the 370 Express EC which has straight drives (sit more mid-ships and have working space in-between but no mid-cabin.

And opinions on this?
