Sea Ray 370 Sundancer microwave replacement

Good evening. I have a 1995 Sea Ray Sundancer 370. I have a problem with my original microwave (Panasonic). When opening the breaker it keeps "beeping" and showing : 1- Tea - 2-Coffee - 3-Soup on the display panel. By pressing the Stop/reset button it stops but no buttons work anymore.

Have you ever replaced the microwave unit , which make - model have you used in order to have it fit perfectly the existing space in the galley ?

Also I guess I only have to remove the two screws under the support base under the microwave to remove it (similar to the TV set) ?

I replaced mine 2 years ago with a Emerson. Fit perfectly in the hole, stainless finish, got it at Walmart for $59. Just remove the 2 screws under the existing microwave and it slides right out. It will be screwed to the board. Not evey Walmart had these microwaves, I kept the model # in my pocket and kept an eye out for them...............do you want me to get you the Emerson model # ?

Is it the Emerson MW8785SS, 0.7 cubic ft / 700 WattUnit Dimensions: 17.2'' W x 14'' D x 10.2'' H
I had looked at this in the past as a replacement but was unsure if it would fit. I recently replaced my Norcold with a SS Refrigerator and a SS Microwave would complete the set.

OK so I also have (now in 2019 )a 370 with bad Panasonic microwave , same issues as 2013 post
At the bottom front of the unit a 1-1/2 inch high strip of wood/ laminate hiding the front bottom and feet of unit
does one have to "bust this out to remove the micro , after removing 3 underneath screws ?
