I've been looking at the 280BR and 290BR in the general 2000-2002 age. I've pulled the spec sheets and have seen examples of both in person. They have the same beam, with the 290 being exactly 2' feet longer, and have a similar interior layout. Curious of people's thoughts on the pros and cons of each model. I would likely be looking at a single engine model. FYI-the boat would be used exclusively at the Lake of the Ozarks and kept on a lift, so towing is not a consideration. Thanks!

On CSR, you should know that we are always going to say get the bigger boat... Buy your second boat first!

But seriously, The 290 will ride better, provide more room, and just be better!

Best of luck and welcome to CSR!

Thanks Jim. The 290 is a great design.

Marty Byrde drives a 240SD. Are you trying to show him up? You might think twice....
