I'm looking at a 1999 Sea Ray 230 with Bravo III. The problem is that I like to keep it in the water and I heard that it bad news for the outdrive.
Any suggestions? Thanks

Yes it sure can be. It is more susceptable to electrolysis than just saltwater. My boat was moored in fresh water it's whole life before I bought it. This is what it looked like when I bought it.

Are you looking at a 230OV or BR? I had an 230OV before this boat. It was great.

Todd,
Those are good "before" photo's-
Where are the after photos? I know how great your boat looks now............

I don't want to hijack this thread, so I'll post these, but if you'd like to see others, PM me. Thank you for your compliments.
