I changed my impeller in my 2005 220 Select with a 5.0L Bravo 3 last weekend. To accomplish this I removed my Gen 3 engine compartment divider and cool fuel unit to gain access. My question is when I reinstalled the cool fuel unit and reconnected the harness to it. I also noticed there were two other wring harness connectors on the starboard side of the engine compartment that terminated just below the cool fuel unit, one is male the other is female (they don't connect to one another). They are factory labeled MIC and MID. I didn't recall disconnecting these from anywhere and can find no other harnesses to attach them to.

Did I bury the mating connectors behind the cool fuel unit or are these just unused connectors? I'm not able to see any place that these would have connected and they are not for the bilge pump or automatic bilge switch. Before I tear the cool fuel unit out I'm hoping someone would be able to help me determine if these are suppose to connect somewhere.

Thanks,
