Sea Ray 2007 230 select

I need help I just purchased a 2007 Sea Ray 230 select. When I got it home the lower unit wouldn't lower or raise nor would the dash controls work i.e. horn, bilge etc. the boat does turn over and the gauges on the instrument panel all work.

can anyone help me with this. thank you

Your schematic shows a "Control Station Breaker", is that on? Not sure where that would be though. The schematic also show at least one battery switch, two if you have dual batteries.

i found two reset switches and neither was set off.

Trip them and reset them. See if that helps.

Did these items work when you first checked out the boat?

I did that. The guy I bought the boat from raised the unit lower for me to get it out of his garage.

they weren't actually breakers they were just reset buttons.
I am not sure where the breaker would be.

Follow the battery lead and look for an ~3" square black box with a little "arm" sticking out. Rotate it back in till it clicks. See if that does it.

do you know what would make this pop? also the accessories aren't working yet hon,bilge,blower docking light etc.

The trim pump is not affected by the breaker you found. That should only be affected by the battery switch. The breaker feeds your dash items, but doesn't affect starting the engine. Resetting that breaker should of allowed the dash items to work. Try pressing the little button on the breaker to pop the arm out and reset it again.

resetting this made my power trim work but the dash stuff still doesn't i tried resetting it and it still doesn't work thanks for your help

I realized there was another on in the back of the boat I thought the red button was a reset button didn't realize that kicked out the breaker. all is working now thank you for your help you saved me and my marriage
