I have a 1994 Sea Ray 200 BR and am trying to figure out where the anchor locker drains too... is it that hole in the engine compartment just aft of the gas tank? Had some water in the bilge the other day and wondered if it was rain water from the anchor locker, or from some other source...

If not, where does that drain come from in the engine compartment - is that from the ski locker? If so, where does the anchor locker drain lead to?!

Thanks in advance,
Scott

I have the same year and model. There is a drain in the ski locker. Might want to check it because there is a plug in there and it can fill with rain water if it's not pulled. As far as I know the anchor locker just drains out that fitting in the front of the boat. When I stored my boat outside I put a full "mooring" cover on it because the bow and cockpit covers that come with the boat don't keep all the water out.

Thanks for the reply - I did not even notice the drain to the outside - thanks!

The ski locker is plugged - new plug installed. I may plug the anchor locker too to keep water out when moving - any risk to doing that?

Good point on the mooring cover. Do you have one that can go over / around a bimini by any chance? If so, would you mind sending / posting a picture?

Thanks,
Scott

As far as plugging the anchor locker, that's up to you. If you did take some water over the bow, it wouldn't drain out.

I just have a generic mooring cover for a 20'+ boat. If your bimini folded flat, it would probably go over it. I have the convertible top that stows under the sun pad. I've only used it a few times.

The anchor locker drains into the ski locker which has a drain (3/4" PVC) that runs under the fuel tank and into the bilge. Thanks, Steven
