Hello all. I just purchased a used 2017 290 SDX and I cannot find the sea cock for the black water tank. The manual doesn’t show the location and the PO never used it.
Thanks in advance.

Unless your boat was built for coastal waters, it does not have a seacock or macerator.

It very well may not have it. It likely only has a pump-out. You can figure this out, definitively, if you look at the holding tank.

Ok I see. No seacock makes sense as I searched all over for it. But it does have a key switch in the head which activates a pump and an indicator showing something is 1/2 full. What would that be for?

Vacuum Pump. Tank is half full (if the floats are working properly). Look at your tank. Probably a good idea to read upon the operation of your Vacuflush system (it's in your manual... or download it on SR's site).

Key turns the vacuflush pump on and off, that generates the vacuum to clear the toilet when flushed. 1/2 full is how much waste is in the holding tank. There is a pump out port on the starboard side near the bow.

As lazy daze mentions, read up on the operation of the system.
