Hi Everyone,
I have a brand new blue 220 sundeck, which I use in salt water. On the side of the hull small scratches form (non-penetrating to gel-coat). If I use some regular 3M compound and wax will these "scratches vanish" ? If not what action should I take ?

If the scratches are really light I would try Buff Magic or even McGuires Cleaner Wax. They are less abrasive than compound. If they are too deep Scott's info above is right on.
