So my marina does not scrape the out drives. How do you clean them? Just old fashioned scraping? What do you use? Anything else you use?

When we had an outdrive boat I used a wooden spatula when swimming to remove those critters and the spatula would not scratch the drive.

+1 on a plastic scraper in-season. The ice scrapers work best; a plastic putty knife is too soft.

For commissioning in the spring I use a oscillating multi tool with a scraper blade (carefully). Also On and Off for Outdrives is good stuff. The regular stuff for the hull removes stains like magic including rust stains.

Really no need. Just spray on the drx, wait 5 minutes and hose off.
