A friend of mine saw this truck at the Food Lion in Middle River , Md
In the bed of the truck it had a large billboard that
said "Bring Ehrlich Back", and it was towing a trailer

with the best sign ever in Maryland political history!

That's our wonderful Governor taking the money out of the wallet. He never met a tax that he didn't like. They tried to balance the budget with a "millioniars tax" a year or two ago. Guess what? We now have 1/2 the number of millionairs as we used to. Go figure. They could afford to move. Who would have thunk it... :huh:

The one that just frosts me is that they are now charging a fee for an Ez-Pass. They are charging a fee to collect a fee. :smt013 You can drive from Key West to the Baltimore Harbor Tunnel without paying toll. The drive from Baltimore to Maine will cost over $100 in tolls. Another prime example of how liberals protect the "little guy". Many Maryland drivers are quitting the Ez-Pass program. I am going to as well. Let them pay someone to sit in the booth 7x24x365. It will cost me less and them more. Stupid government. :smt021

And yes... I know that eventually I will be paying for the folks in the booths when they raise our taxes to pay them. At that point, I'll buy another Ez-Pass to make them fire all of the folks in the booths. If they are going to take the money, then I am going to be sure to do my part in making sure that they spend it all...

The taxes along with skyrocketing property values in Montgomery County is what caused us to move to NC in 1994. Haven't looked back and will never regret it! We go back occasionally to visit friends and family and between the high cost of living and the traffic I can't imagine living there again!
