Savannah River International Boat Show

The 7th annual boat show will be March 6 thru 8 at the Savannah International Trade and Convention Center on the Savannah River. In looking at the current information I am not sure how big it will be this year, the inside is not full yet and they are not listing anything yet in the water. It may not take as long to walk it this year.

Just entered for the Westin Prize package! Compared to the Atlanta Boat Show how big is the Savannah show usually?

The one last year I think was bigger than the Atlanta show this year. The convention center main room and lobby areas were packed, then outside between the building and the water all the way across and off to the North side by the water was packed, they set up docks all the way across both the convention center and the Westin hotel and line both sides with boats. It has grown into a good sized show in the six years it has been done, this year will be the 7th year for the show. I will be keeping an eye on the website to see if it fills up on land and then gets some listings for the water.

How does the midatlantic in Charlotte and the one in Chas in April compare in size? Charlotte was last weekend. Had never been, but it was decent. Chas seemed larger last yr. than the Charlotte one.

Sweet Dreams, I have not been to either of the shows you mention, it is advertised as the largest inwater and indoor boat show from North Carolina to North Florida.

Have you heard any more about the size of the show this year?

I have not heard anything yet, they just sent me an email this afternoon, I have replied back to it and asked, the website has not been updated since early Feb. I will be there on Sunday. By the way, did you win the Westin prize.:grin:

I just got off the phone with Debbie from JBM Shows, they set up the boat show, she did not know the site was not getting updated, the main building is sold out (full) the Esplanade, grounds out front are full, in water boats in front of the Westin none in front of the main building so the show will be a little smaller than last year but should still be a good show.
