Sandy was aptly named for its moving of sand in the Topsail/hampstead NC area. The ICW has an area that has so much sand that even the temporary marker is in 3 ft of water and people keep getting stuck. The enterance into Topsail in the marked channel only has 3.6ft of water. Finally the channel that brings you to the beaches is totally gone. :smt089 Ugh. Thinking about moving to a marina more south with better water access if they don't dredge it out soon.

Unacceptable, it will be dredged again. Plus, who's gonna be responsible for the steaks. LOL

I think we need another steak marinade taste test in march. I have some new ideas.

It's our prime boating season now... we'll find all those areas and get stuck on them for you ;) by the time you head back out SeaTow will be warning people because we've called them out so much.

Gonna have to be extra careful on our next trip to swansboro now.

New river inlet is getting dredged to 17 ft. It is going to be nice when finished in feb. agree their is a lot of sand moved around. I have made a point of just going slow and marking my tracks so I can use them as spring comes. A few routes I had saved have detours now. Be safe out there.
