Anyone been to Salt Ponds? Thinking of taking trip there end of July and looking for some info. Thanks in advance.

Stayed at Salt Ponds last year for a night on our way to Kingsmill. This is a nice marina with good amenities, friendly people and nice beach you can walk to. The entrance can be a little stressful if the tide and wind are running and the interior channel markers are a cause for concern because at low tide some of the reds are on dry ground - but we found plenty of water in the center. Unfortunately, did not have time to sample the crab cakes.

How far from Salt Ponds to Kingsmill?

Made the trip several times and can be very tricky going in to SP.Depending on speed and conditions Kingsmill was about an hour at 35-40.Watch out for submarines.
