Good Evening Skippers,
The main HVAC system (16K BTU) in my 1989 390 Express Cruiser finally died and I am replacing it. The small access hole in the seat base is okay for cleaning and servicing, but it's not large enough to allow replacement of the unit. I've removed all visible screws in the seat base (under the removable cushion) and some which appear to hold the bottom of the back cushion. The base is loose along the front edges, but something still seems to be holding it in place and it seems like the back needs to be removed before I can get the seat base to come out. Unfortunately, the back seems to be rock solid. Has anyone ever removed these seats? I'm stumped! Thanks in advance!!
