Anybody have problems with the paneling in the salon coming off? The paneling by the closet has peeled back and the glue is exposed, someone suggested using a hair dryer to reactivate the glue. Any suggestions.

What year? There were vitricore issues in the beginning. I believe they weren't applying enough glue during assembly but someone else can probably confirm. I looked very carefully at mine during the survey and have not seen anything yet.

You can thank the OHSA for this one. Sea Ray used to apply plenty of glue to the Vitricore but were cited several years ago for excessive airborne contaminants in the factory so the had to cut way back on the amount of cements sprayed......you got the result, and it tends to happen more in concave or convex areas.

The best fix is to get someone familiar with the Vitricore process to remove the loose piece and reglue it with contact cement applied with a brush. I don't think a hair dryer is going to do anything but make you think you are fixing it and upsetting your wife when you burn the thing up.
