My 2008 40MY came with a nice set of snap in carpet and step covers, however there are no receiving (male) snaps in the floor and all the pieces are undersized. The width is ok on the salon floor but length is short by 18" and each step is only covered on the front edge back about 6-8". I found this set in the original packing unused under the aft berth bed. I see now why they were never used. Is there a Sea Ray/after market source for a carpet cover set or template that fits my vessel or should I go to a canvas shop? Without a template they would have to template it out and fabricate to fit, an expensive option for a carpet cover.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

I think Searay uses undersized protectors so they fit all the builds as each one is a little different. To have a perfect one you would have to template and have it made at a canvas shop. The male snaps are easy. They simply screw in the floor and can be purchased at any marine store.

If you are going to go through the trouble to get some custom made just have them made out of infinity or some other floor covering material.

It doesn't seem Sea Ray has a horse in this race so I'll go with a custom job. Thanks for the input.
