Safety items to bring on a trip?

Hey all, I'm planning a 4 day outting this June. The scenario is:

will probably spend 3 days living on the boat (230 DA). Showers will be available at a friends hotel rm. Won't do much driving, we'll spend most of the time anchored with LOTS of other boats (big festival). I want to have as much of a trouble free trip as possible but would like to be prepaired for the worst. So here's what I've come up with first:

predeparture:
-Check oil, coolant and fill up gas and fresh water.
-Visual inspection of vital components: bilge area, outdrive and hull
-Inspect trailer

I'll be bringing an extra quart or 2 of oil, some extra coolant, duct tape, zip ties, jumper cables, basic tools, 1st aid kit, extra drain plug and I'd like to get a precharged battery jumper (don't need another boat to jump from).

Of course saftely items like life jackets, sunscreen, VHF are already on board, I just don't want to get stranded.

Anyone have anything else to add to my list or advice? Thanks.

Oh yeah, the festival is the Billy Bowlegs Festival in Destin FL.

3. Rescue Tape ( http://rescuetape.com ) - If the link doesn't work when you click on it, you'll have to type it in because, even though they make a good product, the ass hole in charge of the website blocks links to his/her page.

Rescue tape-Ha! As a C130 mechanic we used to call that rescue tape F4 tape. Apparently it was what was holding half of the F4's together back in the 70's! You can also make one insane bounce ball with it! Good stuff though, I'll go get some.

It is good stuff... it plugs rust-through holes on a QSM-11 exhaust...

I just noticed you sig. I just moved down here to MS from Hampton VA. I was stationed at Langley. Small world. You get any of those tornados?
