Sabotage, Prank or just happened?

Question for you all. I was just down at the boat running a system test and the port ignition system would not respond. I triple checked all the switches and breakers. no beep no crank and definitely in neutral. finally lifted the panel and found 3 of the 4 wires completely disconnected. I thought perhaps the clips were loose but when i put them back on they had very good pressure. could they have just come loose over the years? no other connections were loose of about to fall off. and of course I have no idea what or whom could have been under that panel before she was mine. Good news is that she fired up just fine and seems to be okay.

absolutely no way to know for sure, but I doubt it was deliberate........glad it was an easy fix.....
