RV Broker San Antonio? (help)

Hi Everyone,

Due to my dad's untimely passing this past December, My mom is looking to sell their newly purchased 40ft motorhome. She doesn't know where to begin. I know some of you are RV'ers and so wondering if any of you happen to know a good reputable brokerage service that operates in the San Antonio area?

That is a beautiful bus. I assume you are not local to the motor home? It is a sellers market with limited supply, a few well placed Facebook marketplace and group ads and I bet it would sell.

Thank you ..and no, I'm a long way away in Vancouver BC. She's all by herself and needs to sell it but needs help to do so. I wish I was down there to handle it.

Sorry to hear about that. I'd find a couple of RV forums and also reach out to a few local dealers. They will likely want a cut but should be able to make it simple and easy

The closest one I know of has a yard in Katy Texas just east of S.A. I have delt with their place in Las Cruces New Mexico. Very nice people that go the extra mile to help out. Them and Camping World are the only ones in that neck of the woods I have ever delt with. And C.W. is a take it or leave it kind of place. Might be worth a check, see.

Edit; Might check to see if they were part of a membership. Good Sam, or the likes. They might be able to help as well. My grand parents were snowbirds and was members of all of them. They bought a couple of high dollar buses through them. Kind of like Costco type thing.

Wow that's good info. Thanks Mark. Yes the dealership where they got it offered to buy it back less $30k than what they paid. So I'd say that's a load of crap. They could buy it back for exactly what my parents paid and still make a healthy profit!

I'll look into it thank you. Katy is a good 4 hour drive so probably a bit too far though. But definitely worth an exploratory phone call.
