rust stains B3

Finally got some time to uncover the boat this year. Installed 2 new batteries, put the muffs on & it fired right up.
I did notice some rust stains on the out drive later that I don't remember seeing in the past. Anything I need to worry about?

Since you trailer your boat.... Just flush it good and keep an eye on it. If this is the first time running it this year it may just be flushing out surface rust. But make sure you watch for leaks etc.

Are you sure those rust stains are from the drive and not your water source? I can see rust stains all over your floor as well.

The drive is aluminum so I can't imagine what would rust.

Never say never but I don't think it's the water source as I'm been running several sprinklers daily after a lawn renovation project. City water too.
Maybe I'll start it back up this afternoon & let it run for a few minutes & then see what I have.
