Rust on window enclosures

I have a 2006 320 Sundancer. I keep the enclosures on most of the time. The framework that supports the enclosures has rusted in a couple of places where the framework poles touch the plastic. Does anyone know of a product that will remove the rust from the plastic.

Rubbing compound for the stainless and a plastic polish by either Mothers or Mequires for the Isinglass. If the Isinglass is contacting the stainless supports, you need some stand-offs to prevent contact.
