Russo marine Aquapalooza this Sat. 07/16/11

What is the plan for the boats? Raft up or marina slips? Thank you.

Glad you reminded me! I will try to get a group from our club (mystic wellington, medford to get down there.) usually drop an anchor. I am on 72 most of the time. thanks again Wakeup II

Wake up, I heard they have some local bands that will be playing. I am planning on running down from Beverly/Salem early saturday morning. I need to find out how to get into that area. I will try to reach you on 72. Good opportunity for you to check out the Allure flooring. I have a few buddies that are heading down with their Sea Rays as well. Dave
 
Sounds good 88, I spoke to Russo earlier today and there are no moorings. you can anchor 3 boats together. They are having 3 bands on the Big boat. I will confirm attendance friday but looks like a go for me.
Mooney I was not out on my boat Sunday I was at World End, Hingham/ hull on my buddies 34 Luhrs. Lets see if we can meet up and say hello. I have a dinghy with me as well. There is a beach there. As far as getting in there, it is on the Boston side of the island. It is also called Portugese Cove. thanks Rob
 
Rob. I have 4 other boats coming down with me, and another meeting us in Boston harbor. I will also have the dinghy on board, and the blender with large bucket O margarita mix. I give you a shout when I get in. Dave

Rob, Cant find phone #. Send it to me via PM and Ill call you when I get there. We are actually leaving the dock friday afternoon, spending the night at the islands outside beverly/salem harbor, and leaving for Boston early in the morning. Should be in Boston by 9:00-10:00 am. Dave

Does anyone know if the high bacteria levels that have been reported at the beaches of Quincy, will be a problem for the aquapalooza at perrys cove for tomorrow? Gonna be a hot day if you cant get in the water.
 
No on Bacteria levels ..clean flowing deep water Around islands......Beach has outfall storm drains that have sewer pipes leaking into storm systems drains,,,no worries :smt038
 
We had six boats come down from Danvers. Everyone had a blast. Our raft of boats was right accross from the band boat. We spent Sat. night in Perrys cove, and headed back in the morning. The bands were very good, and everyone got an aquapalooza t-shirt. Larry at Russo marine put on a good time, cant wait to do it again next year.
