Does anyone know the best route to run a NEMA 2000 backbone wire from the engine bay to the console on a 1995 370 DA?

Thank you
Jack

Does your 370 have the storage cubby to starboard of your helm? If so generally this is a great place to gain access for long runs of wire. Pull the cubby and use it to access the opening that should run most of the lengthy of the cockpit. You should be able to gain access from the engine room somewhere above your fuel tank...though there might be a plug of some sort.

Good luck!

Hopefully the 95 doesn't require removal of the helm seat and base to remove the plastic insert in the starboard helm. The 98 does. An alternative to all that is to remove the 10" sub woofer. That will get you arm's access into that space. The entry point in the engine room is a cavity over the starboard gas tank, where all the harnesses are going up. Note that Sea Ray rightfully sealed all these passageways in an attempt to keep engine room gasses out of the side coaming. When pulling your backbone, be sure to pull another line with it. Small nylon cord works. You will undoubtedly want to pull something else later, like speaker wire, video feed from engine room cameras, or remotes for stereos, or.... or....

I have run the nema back bone wire and you'll never guess how easy it was. In looking around the in the engine room by the gas tank is two wire looms that run all the way to the console! 10 min and I was done! I installed the Fox marine gateways they work perfect. Thanks to all
