Running light setup with dink on platform

I'm wondering what most do as far as a stern light when you are towing a dinghy on the swim platform which obstructs the stern light.

Irie- Because out stern light is blocked. We put the dinghy stern light on and we are good to go! Mike

I installed an extra light fixture on the anchor light mast, wired into the running light circuit.

On mine I can run both the running lights and anchor light at the same time. Easy. (but it's only legal since my boat is under 40')

I'll do like Jimmy, or what I did on my Doral is I jumped the rear portion of the mast light to the NAV position, so no matter what position the switch was in, the front/rear light was on.
