I have tried numerous cleaners to lift dried spider doo doo off the 'Dancer, our harbor master said he tried Roll Off recently and was impressed.. So I bought a bottle and with a nylon bristle brush was able to finally clean the non skid of the the dreaded black spots :smt038 left a nice sheen as well, did not seem to bother the polish on the sides either!

I find that my weekly wash with Starbrite non skid deck cleaner takes care of the spider **** easily and only need a deck brush to spread around, wait and then hose off.

Yes, that usually worked for me also..this "crap" was left over from winter storage, and has been giving me fits all summer... Starbrite deck cleaner did not remove the hardened deposits..

I've also used roll off and also something called crazy clean. Both work great. Becarefull with the roll off it will remove all the wax from the hull.

Where did you find this ?

Anyone tried this in comparison to the blue goo called FSR "Fiberglass Stain Remover"?

We had a bad season of midges here in the chesapeake this year... and they love to land on anything white at night that has light on it... they leave behind these green dots ... (either poo or eggs...) Very difficult to get off without using cleaner wax... Someone told me about FSR, but it sounds like roll-off might be a similar product.

I'm sure FSR will work but it's got acid in it and a whole lot harsher than Roll-Off, you may want to save the FSR for much more serious stains. I've used Shurhold Serious Shine with success against the green dots as well.

FSR is best for removing the stains you get along the waterline - with a little elbow grease, the midge doo will come off with just soap and water.
