Any of you use Netflix? If so have you used the Roku box or do you have an internet ready Blu-Ray player?
I like the idea of streaming movies right to the player vs having to wait in the mail, etc...
Just wondering what your experiences/biases are:smt024

I have the internet streaming Blu Ray. Just watched a movie on it last night. It works out great especially if you like older movies!

I have a Roku, Netflix capable LG Blu-ray player, and an XBOX 360 in different locations in the house.

Of the 3, the Roku is the most wife friendly. The XBOX is the least (have to log in to your live account, etc.)

The image quality is similar across the devices (very good). The Roku does have a 720p limitation currently, but I don't think it really makes that much of a difference given the current state of the technology. You will see what I mean if you go the Blu-ray player route and compare streaming to a disc.

As an aside, I recentlly rented "Boondock Saints" from Netlfix. I got the BD in the mail and the image quality was excellent. I noticed I was able to stream it and tried it out. I was surprised to see that the streaming version was 4x3 standard definition. Ick!

I am leaning toward the internet streaming Blu ray.....Do you have wireless??? If so n,g, or b?

My LG BD390 and the Roku are wireless, using 802.11n. The Xbox is hardwired. I have had no bandwith issues.
