I bought a pair to replace the original speakers and got them on sale for $89.00 on newegg. They do the job and sound good. I just replaced the other two with Wet Sound SX650 speakers and they are way way better on the lower bass and mid-range but cost twice as much. We have teenagers that like to crank up the stereo system and the M262's start to distort much sooner than the SX650. ...Long and short, they are fine at a normal volume but if you are looking for loud and clear, pass and spend a little more money. We were happy with them until we installed the Wet Sounds and I will likely replace the 262's this spring with more SX650"s

I saw them on the top10 which is why I started thinking about them. I was originally going to do the JL's.

MarkCrusei, do you have them hooked up to an amp or just head unit? I got a 65x4 amp that blew my pos Sony's apart but they were only rated for 45W...

Need to replace the speakers in my arch. I have an Xtant 604X amplifier that is 4 X 75W so I need to match the speakers up accordingly. The existing speakers are MB Quart with separate tweeters.

Well I bit the bullet and ponied up the extra bucks for the JL's. Can't wait to get them installed.

I listened to the RFs and while they were very good, they didn't seem to have the full rich sound as from the JLs. In the end, I went with a complete JL system.
