Rock Island

Here are some pictures of our trip to Rock Island this summer. When we were driving past "Deaths Door" we were hitting 4-5 ft waves rolling in from Michigan, but it was worth the rough and wet drive.

oh my god those are great pics,I'm so enviuos..... We want to go to The Rock Island this coming year, but don't know if we can find the time...

its a great place to visit, best place to stay overnight is on the north side of Washington Island, in Jackson Harbor it only costs me $20 per night. we just take our raft across to rock island, its only 1 mile. If you like fishing, this area is awsome for salmon, bass, and perch.
