Rittenhouse case

Me and my wife both had it earlier this year. She is a teacher so had to stay home for 10 days but barely had a cough for a few days. I had a headache for 1/2 day and felt like I had a mild flu for about 2 days. In fact, I'm sick now with the flu and feel much worse than when I had COVID and it lasted longer. I didn't get tested this time but pretty sure it was only a cold. I mean I already had COVID and recently was forced to get vaxxed or end my career. I work from home and when I had COVID I missed 1 day and could have worked that day if I needed to but have quite a bit of PTO so decided to relax that day.
 
Since we are telling stories, please let me share. My 53 year old friend got Covid. He died 30 days later, leaving a 45 year old wife and 3 kids.

But, I am truly glad so many of you have not been too sick and your lives have not been effected by Covid. Congrats!

I'm sorry if that actually happened to your friend. I don't believe anyone is dieing OF the Wuhan virus however. I also am not saying it's helping anyone. Similar to the "seasonal" flu. I believe there is alot more going on for the people who have died.
As far as anyone not being affected, we all are. Politicians are using it as a tool/weapon to dismantle our country in an attempt to destroy our way if life.

Dani, sorry about your friend. I'm not sure if we discussed it back when, but what treatment did he receive before he was in the hospital?
 
So everyone talking about Rittenhouse but nobody talking about Ahmad Arboury? In my opinion they got that one right too. Citizens arrest law states you must witness the crime in PA and from what I have heard on TV (not that they are reliable either) the same applies. None of those 3 witnessed any crime being committed so any defense claiming 'citizens arrest' does not apply. That leaves this as a case where 3 men chased down a guy until he was cornered and his life felt threatened. He grabbed at the shotgun. Think of it from the other side...if Ahmad had been able to get that gun from Travis and shot and killed him I believe there would have been justified and no charges would have been filed.

Yeah. The last thing we need is dudes running around implementing "citizens arrests." They got what they had comming.

You're talking about the guy that was out on probation, right? Do you also believe he was "just jogging"??

Regardless, they weren't the police and their lives weren't in danger. I didn't follow that case, but from my understanding they got it right.

The quote from his father after the trial was spot on, "ALL LIVES MATTER."

Yeah spelled it wrong but you got my point.
Doesn't matter if he was on probation. Not saying he was a model citizen but that does not apply in this case. They had no legal right to stop or chase him. Whether he was 'just jogging' or casing the neighborhood doesn't matter either. 'Casing' a neighborhood is not a crime and is nearly impossible to prove even if it was. There was no crime committed and if there was it had to be witnessed by a citizen for citizens arrest to apply. Even if he had stolen from that house if nobody saw it with their own eyes then citizens arrest does not apply.

Thanks Fire. I don’t know what treatment. This was in the 1st 6 months of covid, I think before Trump got it. I know he couldn’t breath.
 
Why would that moron release that video? Without that evidence they would be free men today. If your going to break the law you have to be smart about it.

My brother had it during that time. Pulse Ox down to the mid 80s for much to long. Zero treatment aside from fluids. Thankfully he pulled through.

That’s awful. My feelings are that that story is, and has been repeated thousands of times for the flu, heart disease, cancer, etc without mandates, lockdowns, and the general confiscation of civil liberties.

So when I hear a story like this even though it’s tragic, it’s no more tragic than any other and therefore should not effect the lives of others ie mandates etc.
