Made a table for some friends of mine a few years ago. The table was made for their cabin. They bought a 370 express cruiser and started using it in their cockpit. Needles to say the table didn't do so well in these conditions. Their 370 doesn't have a camper top and the slant back is all clear vinyl. The heat did a number on the table some of the joints let loose when it expanded. The finish I used originally was Rock Hard Top table finish by Mohawk. I got everything glued back up as good as possible and leveled and refinished it with polyacrylic. Going to have a vinyl protective cover made to keep it out of the direct sun. The Mohawk finish didn't mind the sun but the hard maple wood didn't like being in the solar oven.
