Revitalization of an 1987 39 Express

[No Regrets 39]

I have a nice 39 Express that I would like to freshen up with a few new things. I'm looking suppliers for the following items:

Replacement rubber for the rub rail
Replacement dash panels and instrument panles
Replacement window rubber molding
Replacement side windows in cabin and oval windows in the bow


Any assistance in pointing me towards suppliers that have these items would be appreciated. I have talked to Sea Ray Customer Service and have not had much luck.

Sea Ray Parts

Just got the Boater's World Catalog in the mail and they have an extensive listing of extruded rubber rub rails, windows, etc.. Here is the link:

Here is the link to Boater's World Catalog for Hatches. Bowmar makes an extensive line of windows and Boater's World should have their complete catalog. They should be able to special order any windows and hatches that Bowmar has available.

You can also try a good shop in your area for the windows. I get mine from S & G Marine, Hampton. Kathy, Pete & Dave do an excellent job of finding new hard to find parts and will also used parts if needed. You can reach Kathy at 757 726 0577

I have a 1986 39' sedan sport fish. I removed the dash and cluster and sent the grid type panel to custom instrument panels 21203 south figueroa st. Carson, ca. (310)515-4974. The made the identical panel. I can not say enough about the service and the quality of the panel. Panel was $225.00 s&h to canada $35.00. I can email pics if you like. Glad to be some help. Which window rubber moldings are you looking for? As for the dash panels, when I upgraded the electronics my installer brought the old inserts to a plastics shop and had new ones made with cutouts to match the new electronics, for a resonable price.
