I've got a 2005 260 Sundancer. It's plugged in to a 30amp 125v shore power outlet at my home. Last week after coming back from a day out on the water when I plugged in to shore power I noticed the green power available light was a little dimmer than normal, and when I switched on the shore power on the power panel on the boat the green light went out and the red reverse polarity light came on. The voltage on the panel dropped to about 50V, and nothing would run. I shut everything off and unplugged the shore power cables. I've checked both my outlet, and my cable with a multi meter. Both show ~120v polarity is correct. I've tried cleaning the cord and connections, no change. The boat runs fine on the generator, but the same problems persist on shore power. The boat has been plugged in with the same setup for a few weeks before this problem presented itself. Any ideas?

Had a similar issue with worn marina receptacles. My cord worked fine on some but not all. Quick fix was to spread the prongs on my plug.

In my case the red reverse polarity light is on while connected to shore. Electricians come and go saying that all is correct ......

NO! NO! NO!

A simple voltmeter from the shore power to the power cord would solve the issue. If you travel to other nearby ports, check them as well. If all read the same as the home port, it is a boat problem. If not, a pedastal change in wiring is in order.
