Hello all! I just purchased a 2005 340 SD and have to replace the Reverse Cycle CruiseAir 12,000 BTU 115V/60 Phase 1 unit. I have received several quotes but before I buy the same BTU unit, has anyone replaced theirs with a smaller unit?
I was thinking that a smaller unit would be a big cost savings, but only if it can do the job to cool and heat the cabin without working to hard and being undersized.
I know boat AC units are different from home units, but it seems like 12,000 BTU's are a lot for the cabin of the 340 SD. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.:smt001
Thanks,
Rob
