With lots of help from this site we decided to update our cabin but I need some guidance from all of you to help point me in the right direction. I study lots of photos from this site and loved Pietro's 390 resoration.:smt038 So here are some thougts:

1.Rip out the blue carpet and get rid of the teal fabric. see photos (hope the upload worked!):smt101
2. Install Allure teak vinyl plank. Thoughts? Better products?
3. Any recommendations of what to do with the walls that are currently carpeted? New low pile carpet? or oak veneer? thoughts????
4. Interior lighting? We want to install new lights, can we tap of off existing lighting with "daisy chain" wiring or do we need to run new homeruns , fuses, switches, etc?
5. fabric at the dinette? what fabric/leather type is recommended?

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated we are not looking to break the bank but don't want to kick myself in the arse a year from now either.

Thanks

Anthony, I would get rid of all the carpet on the walls! You may want to look for some kind of vinyl similar to leather. The finish will be definitely more modern, cleaner and more hygienic!
On the ceiling I used a Sunbrella fabric similar to the original Sea Ray stuff.
I substituted all the lights with led ones without any modification to the wiring, so I believe you can do the same.
