Resealing the hull to deck joint

Hi Captain
I’m doing the hull deck joint on my Sundancer 260 right now. My main question is if 5200 is the go to sealant?
After reading the thread I’m still not sure, and sea ray won’t give tech support on boats over 10 years old..mines a 2006.
Thank you sir!
Nick, this is one of the very few projects where 5200 would be the optimal and recommended material. You never want to or expect to separate the hull to deck joint. That's right up 5200's purpose. Plus, hull to deck joints are specifically listed as the right use for 5200. It's the material I used to reseal the hull to deck joint on my 2006 270 AJ.
