I am also replacing transem plywood layers on 1977 240 srv. I would appreciate your input on fiberglass type and number of layers either between hull and plywood, between plywood layers, and finish layer on the inside of the boat. The guy at the store advised me on using 2 chop mat layer between hull and plywood to fill any irreglarity between hull and plywood, can I just biased glass instead, it looks like it adds to strengh and might as fill fill voids, your inputs are greatly appreciated it
