I am replacing the steering wheel on a 2004 220 sundeck. I took the cap off removed the nut and washer but the wheel won't budge. What am I missing and how do I get this darn thing off? Thanks!

should be on a keyed tapered shaft
probably have to wiggle it a bit to release the taper

I always put a little bit of anti-seize on the shaft every time I take the wheel off. Makes life easier next time around.
