I have a 2007 340 Sundance. My boat came with the upgraded audio system which included the Polk 6.5 speakers and separate tweeters . I purchased and installed new Wet Sound Revo 6.5 speakers. I did not want to run new speaker wire and decided to use the existing . I looked at the 340 wiring diagram and disconnected all the wires from each polk crossover unit which are under the cabin sofa, and connected the lead speaker wire to the appropriate new speaker and did not use the tweeter wire completely bypassing the polk crossover units .. Three of the four speakers work perfectly. The starboard radar arch speaker does not work. it is not the speaker I switched it and worked fine, it is something with the way I have it wired but I am at a loss as t what to try next. does anyone have any experience on the proper way to bypass the polk crossovers and use the existing wiring?

Dumb question but did the speaker work before the change? I would run a jumper wire from the amplifier that powers that channel to the speaker. If it works obviously the wire is compromised somewhere and you would have pull a new wire. I have changed this system on a 290 which is similar and the same basic wiring rules would apply. I don't remember having any issues.
