Replacing Furno Electronics...What should I buy?

I just purchased a 1985 Sea Ray Express 340. I had a survey done and it said the boat was in “above average” condition and was taken exceptionally good care of. The engines, 350 Crusaders have 1000 hrs. and look like new. Absolutely everything works as it should but the electronics are original Furno Loran LP 1000 and Furno FCX 663 Depthfinder. I want to replace the electronics but I’m not sure what to buy. I had a Hummingbird 797c2 Chartplotter/GPS with side imaging on my smaller fishing boat. It was a fantastic unit but is it suitable for my new 34 footer?

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I should buy or can I use the Hummingbird unit. Do I need more then the Hummingbird unit? The transducer now on the boat is totally different then the transducer on the Hummingbird unit. Can I use the Hummingbird on this twin screw boat? Would it be mounted on the transom between the propellers?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I don’t want to take the boat out without the correct electronics in place.

Not sure what your budget is, but I saw this Garmin 4210 first hand this weekend and it is very nice. Jim(the owner here at CSR) has them for a great price.
