My 2007 320 DA has two small compartments above the bolster on either side of the v-berth. These compartments each have a door held open with an air spring. The air springs will no longer hold the doors open so I am looking to replace them. Anyone with experience in removing and replacing these? Do you have to take the mounting bracket screws out and remove as a complete assembly?

I need to replace mine as well in 2005 320 DA-do you know the size model etc?

Slightly off topic:

Can/should gas struts be used to assist and cut down the wear and tear on the electric hatch lift?

TIA

I'm going to the boat for the long weekend and will get all the information -will also remove the gas struts to match up-will share when i get back-have a great weekend- in the 79's at Lake Mead!

FYI - On My 07 320DA the air springs are Attwood SL10-10-1. I ordered these from Iboats.com for $12.36 each and $5.95 for the UPS charge. Ordered on Sunday night - shipped on Monday.

Same on the 2005 320-just got back from the lake
