Has anyone replaced the old fake wood inserts in the cabin? My 1985 Dancer 34 grew up in Florida and the humidity has begun to swell and ruin the fake wood inserts. I have replaced those inserts it the cabin doors over the dinette (see pics) but Ive got more of it surrounding the bar aft of the dinnette. Anyone replace those inserts or re work that skinny bar cabinet betwen the dinette and the head?

thanks

I started replacing some of the laminated boards on our boat. I carefully removed the teak surround of each panel. I bought a 4x8 sheet of laminated birch plywood. I then cut the Birch panels to the same exact size.
I used a stain called Zarn for matching to teak wood. I stained the plywood only, re-attached the teak and then put multiple coats of a satin spar varnish. The wood matches great.

Sounds nice! I finally opted to use foam backed vinyl because of the curves. Here is a partially finished pic...sorry its sideways. Also used the space to Put a 32" smart TV with wifi and blutooth in the wall. Works and looks great.
