Replacing a 6 Gallon water heater

I need to replace my 6 gal. water heater. I was wondering if anyone had a thought about the quality and/or difference between a Seaward heater and a Kuuma heater. Any input will be appreciated. r

I replaced mine with a Kuuma in the spring, plumbing hook up was very similar. so far so good no complaints here.

I just sprung a leak in mine and need to replace it. Any idea what they cost? Thanks!

I just looked it up. I replaced mine in 6/05 with a Force 10 Stainless Steel water heater. It was $250 at the time.

I installed a new 6 gal seaward and 7 years later it started leaking <engine coolant pipe leaked and over heated the strb engine>. I was expecting more life out of it, plus it took 6 weeks and many phone calls to be able to get the new part. I was not impressed.
