My marina was working on my boat and lost the trapezoidal cockpit filler cushion for the cockpit (the little one that fits on the starboard side between the forward and aft bench cushions).

Is something that could be replaced as a complete cushion pre-made or does it have to be re-created as a custom item by an upholstery shop? I did some Googling last night but found nothing, other than some woman selling one on this site from 10 years ago.

So far the marina is mostly acknowledging they probably lost it although I can just hear the desire to not have to pay for a custom replacement.

In the upholstery things I've had to do over the years there hasn't been OEM replacements available.
Find a shop of your choice that can make it then get agreement from the marina on the use of that shop and cost then have it made.
I remember having to replace a panel in a corner cushion on my 400DA and it was $300+; that was six or seven years ago.

When I pulled out all of my cockpit seats to take them to an upholsterer, they had part numbers and barcodes on the bottom, with a company name:

I went to them with the part numbers and they have all the templates and everything. But they would only deal direct with a manufacturer. I asked the marina, who is a Sea Ray dealer, and they contacted SR direct but eventually they came back with "not available."

You might have more luck if your marina can contact them for an OEM replacement.

Crane has a SR OEM catalog you can download but it's password-protected. When I called for the password they asked what manufacturer I was with

Getting one custom made won't really be an issue, we have a decent upholstery/canvas shop close by. It's gonna be the marina trying to talk me into some much lower budget solution since I doubt this will get done for anything less than $300.

It's kind of annoying that Crane interiors isn't more forthcoming with templates or patterns for some of this stuff. I am going to call Sea Ray for laughs and see what their suggestion is.
