I’ve tried searching with not much luck. Does anyone know a part number or source for replacement shower and floor drain metal trim grates? I’ve had what looks like the exact same ones on a 2004 34 Sundancer, 2007 40 Sundancer, and now my 2001 56 Sedan. I believe it’s a standard part for the 2000’s vintage.

I have 4 of them on the 56 between the 2 showers and 2 head floors, and they are looking a little ratty. Hoping to source some fresh ones.

Thanks for any hints as to where to find them.

For an ‘07 44DB and an ‘03 420DA, Home Depot sells a Jr. Bar Sink Drain that is a perfect match.

Something like this?

I use that exact one to replace my galley sink drain.

I'm wondering how to access the underside of the shower pan though?

Access was hell in our 44DB and had to take a dremel tool to cut the nut off. SR again used gobs of silicone under there. On my 420DA have not tried yet and may just leave them be.

That is the exact one pictured above.

Thanks for the replies guys. It seems that the trim piece should unscrew from the underlying drain. I was hoping there were replacement trim pieces that would screw back into the same drain without having to cut it all out. I’m not interested in doing that at all.

The nice shiny round part is actually part of the drain….you must remove the nut from beneath to get it out…..doable depending on access….

I will be attempting this soon. On my boat (2006 40 sundancer DA) remove forward stateroom floor hatch, remove all loose stuff and you can see that you have access. Should be able to unscrew drain/hose fitting and get a wrench on the slim 2" nut. Someone will have to use needlenose or specific plumber wrench to hold the old one while you wrench from underneath. Reverse for new one. The replacement from amazon is Valterra shower drain 2 1/2" SS flange p/n A01-2012VP. Wish us both good luck!

I just replaced one on a 410 express. It is a Perko part and they come in different sizes. You will have to remove it from below as others said. And I concur with there was a ton of silicone on the one I just did.

So we got this worked out. In the pic on bench the parts on the top are mostly what we removed. Could not find plumbing components to equal OEM. On the bottom is the substitute which was just a 8" plastic (1.5" dia) "tail stock cut back to 4" and attached to floor drain with attachment nut provided with floor drain (
Valterra A01-2012VP)

Nice job you at least got it done.

I did this on my buddies 46 and space is so tight you cannot get a pipe wrench or any wrench in there to get leverage to loosen nor tighten. We ended up going to Harbor Freight and bought a Crows Foot wrench and that made it much easier to do this repair.

The crows foot was definitely a key, we ripped a couple of "spokes" off before crows foot. Also I got a 2" socket because i cannot do this stuff with no visibility and one handed.
