hi all , I haven't been on in quite a while , 2000 270 DA 7.4 mpi bravo3 here is what im looking to find out about... some of my helm gauges are starting to go bad , im looking to replace all of them , has anyone done this , and if so is there a kit or do I have to buy them all separately , any info is welcome , thanks all

I just ordered new dash panels and all new switches from flounder pounder. They had a 340 switch "kit" already put together on their web site. Im sure if you called them they could put a guage set together.

If you go to a manufacturer's website, you can look around and find a set that has what you want. You can look at Faria, Teleflex, Sierra. They're pretty common ones and should be then readily available. Another option would be to look into the gauges that are on the newer Sea Rays. Check not only the cruisers, but also the various bowriders. Just avoid anything that says "Smartcraft" to keep the replacement simple.

One of the reasons I asked OEM of not was if (BIG IF) I was to replace all that I would go with the new flat dash on an MFD or a Toughbook screen or Lowrance gauges. Tons of information to be had and cost wise (if his engine has the capability) probably a wash.

Agree with the smart craft statement. Merc screwed the owners on that one.
