replacement hatch screen/shade assembly?

Hello all:

The roll up mosquito screen for my smoked glass deck hatch is ripped, and it doesn't look like it can be repaired. I think I'm going to have to replace the whole screen/shade/trim ring assembly as a unit. It looks like it comes off with just 4 screws, so that part ought to be fairly easy. Does anyone know of a source for these? I looked on the Taylor made website, but I didn't find anything. Is that the sort of thing FlounderPounder might have?

Yet another task on the seemingly endless list of repairs on an 8 year old boat.......sigh

I just took mine all apart this weekend...one of my daughters friends broke a piece off the clip that "holds" the screen open. It had to be glued back together and in order to set it properly, I had to take it apart.

Anyway, I think the name on the inside was "Ocean Pro" or "Ocean Sport" or something like that.....I don't believe it was Taylor Made.

The whole piece comes off with 4 screws and then each of the pieces snap together (or apart) easily. You can probably take it apart and just replace the screen.

Thanks for the tip - the glass and struts are maked as Taylor Made, but I guess it's possible they outsourced the shade/screen. If it's that easy to disassemble, I'll try taking it apart and see if the local screen shop wants a crack at replacing it.

Those screens are made by british company but SR dealers can order replacement screen and shade fabric separate
