2008 175 Sport. All the grab handles have been infiltrated by mildew and nothing I try can get it out so I want to replace them. Does anyone know who online would sell them. I have done searches and found handles but I am not sure if they will fit.

Have you tried using bleach?

Ultimately, you just need to match a new handle's center to center measurement for the bolts -- at least to make this as easy as possible, anyways. Or get as close as possible so the handle will cover a slight elongation of the new hole. I'm not sure if you can get the exact color aftermarket. But any Sea Ray dealer should be able to help you get the exact handle. It should be a very simple process - just contact them with your HIN and tell them what you want. However, again, you're not relegated to using the exact one unless you want to match it to other things in the boat. For example, you could change them out to SS.

I've got one on my 185 - the transom one - that I am going to replace with stainless steel. Boat Outfitters is a good source.

Get curved stainless ones a bit longer and cut a piece of white Starboard in a rectangle to go under the handles and then you can drill new holes where needed. The Starboard will protect the vinyl under the handles as well and it should look nice and clean.

I have five asymmetric grab handles, and one symmetric handle (engine box). All plastic/rubber outer layer, in off-white color. No mold/mildew.
We can work something out on these OEM plastic/rubber handles if you are interested.

I replaced these with stainless grab handles from replacementboatparts.com, "Deluxe 9" Stainless Grab Handle".

Hey mate.... have got some before and after photos... CUZ.. i have just purchased the exact same ones to replace!

I have put front speakers in the bow... also makes for easier access will take some photos tommorrow night.

SandyD, were you able to replace the handles in the bow? I cannot figure out how to get up underneath the fiberglass to keep the nut from turning.

If you can't reach it going in via the storage under the seat then you will have to cut a hole and finish the hole with an access plate or pie plate.

I removed the 4 handles on our 2000 Sundeck 240.
I thought Flex Seal white Spray would be a similar rubber-like coating that would look nice and be durable.
I thought wrong! :) The resulting coating is *very* sticky.
Their customer support said that this sometimes happens when applying on a rubber-like finishes, and that mineral spirits will remove the Flex Seal. I haven't tried that yet, but I assume it will be a mess.

So....Any recommendations on a better option for covering the handles (vinyl wrap maybe? or large heat shrink tubing?) I'm open to buying replacement handles, and will call the Sea Ray dealer tomorrow, but I'm not holding my breath that they'll stock those.
thanks!

Re-read what I said in post #2

Regarding painting/covering. Anything like that Flexseal stuff will just rub off in short time if anyone puts their hands on it. Vinyl wrapping a grab handle? Never heard of something like that.

Did you try cleaning?

Look up SEM vinyl paint - that's about the only readily available thing that may work. Possibly a vinyl tear repair person can dye them.

I called the local Sea Ray dealer, they don't have these (p/n 1086362) and can't get them.
None of the other generic replacement aftermarket ones look nice (IMO); having the captive bolts in the back make removal/installation a bit of work but they definitely look better than the ones that have the little caps visible.
Yes, I tried cleaning w/bleach, vinegar, etc. and nothing removed all the discoloration.
I just ordered some of the SEM vinyl cover, will see how that works.
Removing the Flex Seal was sort of a pain w/mineral spirits, mainly because that stuff is so thick. My hope was that would have cured like Plasti-dip, a hard rubber-like finish, but apparently that doesn't happen in some situations.
Will circle back once I apply the SEM coating.

I ran into the same issue with my 2001 240. There are no replacements & they will not come clean with chemicals. I had to put a sanding drum on my dremel & abrade all the black spots off. They look great now, but the original (viened) texture is gone.
